As we all have heard now with the residential schools and the stories that many did not listen to before we are all should have. As you might know we are not far from one in Brantford and a local family is stepping up with a small gesture to fill hearts.

We have seen the Hearts when we go south out of town and now it’s time to fill them in memory of the lives of the residential schools.

A St. George woman is opening her “hill of hearts” to honour the 215 children whose remains were found in May on the grounds of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C.
