The ST. GEORGE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION will be hosting the 4th Annual Car Show, on Main Street St. George. It is hard to believe that it is only a couple of months away.

Sunday June 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.

Last year the Car Show was a great success despite having to cut it short because of rain. Based on the support we received from the community, this year we are expanding the area for display, inviting vendors to join us, more cars and people are welcome so please spread the word.

Planning has been underway since last year and St. George’s many great restaurants in our downtown welcome you back. We have a couple of new additions, South Dumfries Historical Society will be selling breakfast sandwiches and hotdogs and hamburgers, Drongkowskis have a great selection of sandwiches along with other great restaurants downtown, the Girl Guides will be selling tea and coffee and there world famous cookies.

Live music and a DJ will be at two locations on the MainStreet to entertain the crowd.

Last year, cars just kept coming. Locals as well as car enthusiasts had a great day.

For the Car Participants, we will be hosting People Choice Awards, which will allow the visitors to place votes in specific categories to determine winners. Fun for everyone.

We will also be running a draw for the Car show Participants as we did last year.

We don’t require registration but would appreciate people to sign up to help with our planning. There is no cost for entry, but donations are welcome to help support the show. Parking on the Main Street is limited to those who can remain for the duration of the show and entrance will be at the south end of town next to St.George Hardware at 48 Main St. South St. George. For those who would like to visit for a shorter period there is parking for the classic cars just north of the hardware store and overflow south of the Hardware store. To register please go to www.stgeorgeba.ca/car-show.

Look forward to seeing you there.

2024 Peoples choice was the 1961 Corvette roadster owned by Brian Page from Brantford Ont.
